Non Surgical Procedures
Soft and youthful results with neuromodulator and filler for lip augmentation, nasolabial folds, and under-eye circles.
Injectable Fillers
Injectable Fillers are a wide variety of substance that can be used to soften wrinkles and creases, and restore the volume that is lost due to aging. Injectable fillers last for six to eighteen months depending on the site of injection.
Lip Augmentation
The lips are a central feature of the face. Natural and attractive-looking lips have much to do with the contour, the volume and the relative difference between the upper and lower lips. A key characteristic of beautiful lips is that they have a harmonious appearance and blend well with the rest of your face.
Generally, the characteristics of the lips can be augmented using fillers and implant techniques. Our preference is to use fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm to create genuine-looking lips that maintain their natural feel.
Peels and lasers work well to smooth the fine wrinkles that develop around the lips, leading to a rejuvenated and fresh appearance. At times, deeper wrinkles around the lips leading to the cheeks and chin are most readily improved with a facelift. Your lips are important for form and function, so allow us to address these issues with you.
Nonsurgical Facelift
General Information About Non-Surgical Facelift in Toronto
At FACE Toronto we specialize in giving our patient options for both surgical and nonsurgical ways to freshen the face and reverse the signs of aging. The goal of a facelift is to treat sagging skin around the jowls and jawline and to refresh the appearance of the areas around the neck, cheek and mouth.
Laser Resurfacing
Facial skin undergoes many changes as we age including wrinkling, irregularities, loss of fullness, and sometimes premalignant and malignant lesions. Lasers come in a wide variety and can manage skin care, capillaries, sunspots, premalignant lesions and vascular irregularities very successfully.
In essence, a laser is able to deposit a bundle of energy at a specific level in the skin which allows the body’s own reparative process to take effect and rebuild collagen. New advances in laser technology have been able to reduce the down time and sensitivity associated with earlier technologies.
Chemical Peels
Refresh your skin.
Chemical peels are excellent options to address facial wrinkling. They can be used alone to rejuvenate sun-damages skin, or in conjunction with a facelift or eyelid surgery. They are particularly helpful with managing wrinkles around your eyes and lips, but can also reduce wrinkling of the entire face. Additionally, chemical peels can be used to treat abnormal skin colouration and acne scars.
There are a number of different chemical peels which are used to achieve different depths of peeling. They range from superficial to deep.
We offer PCA Ultra and Sensi Peels for a light peel, and these are administered as a series of peels over three to four week intervals to rejuvenate tired and worn-out appearing skin. These superficial peels work wonders to give patients healthy, glowing, blemish-free skin.
For heavier wrinkles, at FACE, we use various concentrations of TCA (tri-chloroacetic acid)
Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion is a reliable and effective method of improving wrinkles around the lips and chin, and can help to make scars less noticeable. It can also be an excellent treatment for acne-scarred skin.
Dermabrasion involves removing the upper layers of skin, and the skin usually heals sufficiently by one week to allow the use of make-up. Complete skin healing is achieved in approximately two to three weeks.
Adjuncts and alternatives to dermabrasion include lasers and peels. A consultation with Dr. Asaria will help you to decide whether dermabrasion is an ideal treatment for you and what degree of improvement you can expect.
Botox ®
Botox ® and Xeomin ® are injectable medications that are licensed for a variety of uses including reduction of facial wrinkles.
